It was during the first year of my daughter’s Club Volleyball experience that I got the idea for Spotterz Standout Athletic Shorts. I immediately sensed the need for some “girly flavor” in their practice outfits. While there was quite a variety in fun hair ribbons and even socks, everybody was wearing the same old solid-black volleyball shorts. After shopping around for something more stylish yet still functional, I soon realized that no such options were available.

Inspired, I designed and sewed a few fun and colorful volleyball shorts for my daughter. To my surprise, players, coaches, and parents asked me where I bought them. They searched both online and off before asking. As a result, people requested to purchase them and began placing orders. I decided to take things to the next level! As a professional graphic designer and sewing enthusiast, I found the transition from hobby to business quite "seamless".
